Svetlik Family Office (formerly ES&G) was founded in 1999 by Edvard Svetlik, one of Slovenia’s leading businessmen and entrepreneurs. Prior to this, the family’s main focus had been on the Hidria Corporation, ever since Edvard joined Iskra Idrija in 1980. The Svetlik family members, Ivi, Urška and Gašper, have all been actively involved in growing the Hidria Corporation into a globally recognised pre-development supplier to automotive and industrial component customers, as well as playing a key role in the hospitality segment by establishing and managing one of the first 5* hotels in Slovenia.

After exiting Hidria, the Svetlik Family’s focus shifted to establishing and managing the Family Office and its Charitable Foundation.
